How We Got Started

Gary Schiff started his estate liquidation business in 1999 after being interested in antiques & antique shows and textiles from his early 20’s. Danyelle started working with him in 2000. In 2007 they purchased what is now the Schiff’s Estate Sale Building in Sacramento - it’s the perfect venue to conduct an estate sale for those who can not have one in their home.

He also encouraged her to get her real estate license which she did and has been a licensed Realtor since 2001. She loves to help match people with treasures & homes. Fu is an avid indoorsman, he enjoys collecting cookbooks and knives, drinking scotch on the rocks and tickling the ivories.

When he’s not working at our store or an estate sale he usually hangs out with his daughter or makes something out of wood or metal. He also enjoys long walks along the aisles of Home Depot!

He says, the coolest thing about working with our company and that he has learned after 3 years, is that you never know what is gonna come through our doors…
